Sexism and the City
Research finds age-old perceptions of bachelors way off-base
The well-worn image of the commitment-phobic, diehard bachelor is no longer an appropriate cliché.
Popular dating site Match.com uncovered several surprising facts about their male users: men are more eager than women to have children, more likely to fall in love at first sight, and willing to enter a committed relationship with someone who has everything they were looking for but whom they do not find sexually attractive.
Other findings include proof that men are romantics, with a healthy number of respondents saying true love really does exist and can last forever.
So cast off the old view of men, sex, and dating—because it may no longer resonate with your male audience.
